FAQs

What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

Health and Wellness Coaching is not counseling, nor is it medical advice. It is a “growth-promoting relationship that elicits autonomous motivation, increases the capacity to change, and facilitates a change process through visioning, goal setting, and accountability, which at its best leads to sustainable change for the good.”[1] This is a coaching-client relationship where the coach helps the client develop long- and short-term goals that will help them accomplish their health goals.

Is this a medical diagnosis?

No! If you have specific medical or nutritional needs, please ask your doctor or a dietician. If you’re not sure, feel free to book a discovery call, and we can determine if coaching is right for you.

How much time will this take each week?

These sessions are all about you! Part of coaching is helping you to find out what motivates you so that you can continue these good habits for a lifetime. Every client is unique, which means that there is not a cookie-cutter approach. That being said, you determine how much time you can commit. Part of your sessions are helping you determine what you can do and building off of that.
